Kohl’s has built more than 900 stores and its new Santa Rosa location was one of the more challenging projects to construct. Geo Dynamics teamed with Reeve Knight Construction to set a new record for the shortest amount of time to complete one of Kohl’s 87,000 square foot, 3 story buildings -- just fourteen weeks from ground-breaking to store stocking. The Geo Dynamics team worked closely with the design group on the engineering and site work. Geo’s value engineering input saved Kohl’s money and time when removing a 72” city storm drain and replacing it in a new location without delaying construction. Geo Dynamics also constructed the 10 acre parking lot and all of the city street improvements on the property’s frontage.
